Managing Director
Anil Kumar is a first-generation entrepreneur with an engineering and MBA degree. He has also attended the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management. He worked in the Business Development and Management function at Wipro and Ramco Systems – in India and the USA, before the inception of Great Sports Infra (www.greatsportsinfra.com), which is now the leading sports infrastructure company in South Asia.
His achievements were recognized with the "Emerging Entrepreneur" award by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-SR) and "Star Entrepreneur" by Indira Innovation Foundation. He was also featured in the "Young Turks" program in CNBC-TV18, ET Now, CNBC Awaaz Entrepreneur and has appeared in several publications such as the ‘Inc.’, 'Entrepreneur', 'Smart CEO', 'Dare' and many more. He is a regular speaker in various forums on sports and entrepreneurship including FICCI, TiE, and CII. His business model was made into an award-winning case study by ICFAI Business School. He is a Charter Member of TiE, Hyderabad, and also mentors start-ups through “MentorEdge” of the CIIE (IIM-A).
Mr. Anil Kumar was a national level sportsman and has won a Bronze medal in Junior Nationals in Athletics and later represented the state and captained his university in handball.
Director - Operations
Col. John heads the operations division of Great SportsTech. He graduated from the National Defence Academy, Pune, and further went on to accomplish degrees in Logistics Management from XLRI and Financial Management from National Academy of Audit and Accounts, Simla. He has headed Operations-India for an MNC for 5 years. His leadership experience spans over 27 years in myriad roles. Col. John has been a national level basketball player and has also been awarded the Prestigious Academy Blues at the NDA.
Director - Sales
Mr. Rupesh Tikku heads the sales division of Great SportsTech Ltd. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore University. He comes with an experience of over 26 years in sales and has been associated with significant organizations such as Blow Plast Ltd., McDowell & Co Ltd., Parle Agro Pvt. Ltd., and RC Cola across India and the SAARC region. In this capacity, he engaged with clients to deliver stellar results.
Head – Admin & Finance
Mr. B. S. Kamath heads the finance division of Great SportsTech Ltd. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mysore. He has an extensive experience spanning 31 years in accounting, finance, and auditing at various organizations across India. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing, planning, and managing financial resources.
General Manager – Sales
Mr. K. Sudheer is responsible for overseeing the sales division across pan India. He holds a degree in B.E.(Mech) from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. He also holds a degree in Masters of Business Administration (Sales & Marketing) from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Mr.Sudheer comes with an experience of over 22 years in varied verticals. In his previous roles, he has catered to different functions such as sales & marketing, retail distribution, channel management, and key account management across pan India and Middle East markets. His experience in working with premium organizations such as Microsoft, HP, TVS Electronics, Onida, etc. brings great value to Great SportsTech. His expertise in increasing revenues, and establishing distribution networks is a great asset to the organization.
General Manager – Operations
Major Sandeep holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts from JNU, New Delhi. He also holds a degree in PG Diploma in Business Administration, HR & Industrial Relations from Symbiosis. His managerial experience spans over 13 years in operations, HR/administration, and general management at The Indian Army and varied other organizations such as Trikona Technologies, Goldstone Technologies, etc. His expertise in personnel management, training & development, and employee relations adds great value to Great SportsTech.
